AD *Gifted* Vanity Planet Spin for Perfect Skin Review

*Gifted*
Hello lovelies,

This post is a little bit different for me, but I am very excited to share it with you all as this is my first post as a Vanity Planet Brand Ambassador! After becoming a Brand Ambassador, Vanity Planet kindly sent me the Spin for Perfect Skin Complete Face and Body Cleansing System. They sent me the purple one but there are lots of different colours on their website to choose from.

I've always wanted to try a cleansing brush but I've always been scared to because of my overly sensitive skin, but I honestly cannot find a fault with this one! It comes with 4, yes 4, different attachments so you can cleanse literally anywhere on your body! The first one is the standard cleansing brush, and, as the instructions state, it is made up of 'ultra-soft bristles that are specifically designed to cleanse your skin'.

With this brush, you are meant to use a mild cleanser and use it daily to keep blemishes away, keeping the rotating head in one place for a few seconds before moving it to another space on your face.

The next brush is the exfoliating brush, which has 'slightly firmer bristles that are specifically designed to lift away debris and dead skin sells from your face.' Perfect for those days when my (already dry) skin is covered in even dryer patches!

Again, a mild cleanser is meant to be used with this brush, but you are only supposed to use it 2-3 times a week to avoid damaging your skin.

The third attachment is a pumice stone which is 'designed to effectively remove callouses and dead skin from your feet, knees and elbows.' I LOVE using pumice stones, and the thought of having one where you don't have to make your hand ache by doing or the hard work yourself is dreamy!

Lucky us girls, because we can use this attachment, paired with a cleanser, whenever we want! Whenever callouses form, we can use it. Vanity Planet suggest pairing it with a moisturiser afterwards to make your skin even more silky smooth.

The final attachment is the body brush, which has soft bristles and a large surface area which makes it perfect for whole body use.

Vanity Planet suggest pairing it with a body wash for a deeper cleanse, and this brush head can be used daily to keep your skin smooth all year round!

As if this brush couldn't get any better, it is battery operated AND water resistant for shower use, however Vanity Planet do warn against submerging the handle in water, so maybe don't leave it daringly close to the edge of the bath while you're enjoying a soak...

As well as this, Vanity Planet provide a 1 year warranty, AND at the moment are having a HUGE sale, so this amazing product has gone from £75.92 to £22.77, which is such a huge bargain!

If you are interested in the Spin for Perfect Skin Complete Face and Body Cleansing System and want to do me a favour, by purchasing through this link and clicking the little website link shown in the photo below, when you purchase the product I receive a commission from the retailer.

I am so so pleased with this product and the results I have had so far after only using it a few times. My skin has felt softer since the first use and I 100% recommend it to everyone, whether you have dry skin, oily skin, are prone to blemishes or just want to shake up your skin routine- I think this product will work for everyone!

Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post!

Halloween Help: 5 Halloween Costume Ideas for Women

Hey lovelies.

Halloween is fast approaching and I am so so excited! Halloween is one of my favourite holidays because I love dressing up! Over the past few years though, I have found it more difficult to decide what to go as, so here is a handy list for all of you who are struggling to find a costume this year!

1) A Disney Princess- This year my original plan was to go as Alice in Wonderland, but that changed once my flatmates and I decided to do a group costume. Dressing as a Disney character is perfect because a lot of the time you can DIY a costume for cheap, and who doesn't want to be a Disney Princess for the day! As well as this, if you are more into the 'scary' part of Halloween, you can change yourself into 'Dead' Cinderella or 'Dead' Alice in Wonderland really easily with a bit of pale makeup and some fake blood.

2) Princess Peach/ Princess Daisy/Female Mario/ Female Luigi- This year my flatmates and I are going as Mario Kart characters. We have a Mario, Luigi, Toad, Waluigi, a female Mario and a female Luigi. I really wanted to go as Princess Peach and my flatmate Ellie to go as Princess Daisy, but we couldn't find any decent costumes for cheap. But if you are more willing to spend a bit of money then go for it!

3) A Powerpuff Girl- A few years ago for Halloween, me and 2 of my friends went as dead Powerpuff girls. It was a really easy DIY costume, all you need is a dress/ long top either in blue, red or green! I went as Bubbles because I'm blonde. It was really cheap, easy and fun, so if you and 2 of your girl friends want to do a group costume, this one is definitely a winner!

4) Lara Croft- About 4 years ago my friend threw a videogame themed Halloween party. I know NOTHING about video games, so I decided to go as the only female video game character I could think of- Lara Croft. Again, super easy and you probably have the components of this outfit at home already! I just got my costume a bit dirty and covered it in fake blood, threw my hair up into a ponytail and I was good to go!

5) A cat/ devil/ dead school girl- Some years, we really just wanna be basic. There is nothing wrong with going as any of these things for Halloween so don't let people tell you it's basic or boring because you will look fab anyway! I went as a devil last year and I loved it so screw what anyone else thinks!

I hope you enjoyed this short little post giving you  a few ideas as what to go as for Halloween. Let me know if you use any of these ideas!

Thanks for reading.

Tenerife Travels: My Week in Paradise

Hello lovelies,

Ahh this post is two weeks late, I am SO sorry. I moved back to university just over two weeks ago and it has been pretty hectic since, so I haven't really had the time to write and post, which is really sad! I definitely need to get more organised with my blogging so that I have a backlog of posts ready for each week in advance when I know I'm going to be busy, but I didn't think to do that before moving back to uni!

My week in Tenerife feels like a lifetime ago! At the time of writing this, I went on holiday a month and 5 days ago, which is crazy! I wish I could turn back time, Sam and I had the most amazing first holiday by ourselves and we can't wait to go on our next one-hopefully next year but with me already booked to go to Thailand and a possible trip back to Tenerife for a hen-do, money will be a bit tight. Fingers crossed we can go away somewhere- I've got my heart set on going to Mykonos at the moment but I don't know how reasonable I am being. We shall see I suppose!

Anyway, on with the post! This is going to be more pictures than anything else, but I will try and go into more detail on the exciting things we did.

Our hotel was called the Hotel Aguamarina Golf, a 4* hotel in Golf Del Sur, a 15 minute drive away from Playa De Las Americas. It was lovely and housed everything we needed. We also went all inclusive, meaning that we had already paid for all of our food and drinks at the hotel and we didn't need to worry about carrying money with us everywhere which was nice.

The pool area was beautiful. It had the bar, jacuzzi and kids pool on the first level as you walked out of the hotel reception, and the main pool was down a set of stairs. There was always plenty of sunbeds around the pool which was nice, and we managed to get a good sunbathing spot every day (bonus!)

Our room was pretty basic but it was large and clean with a TV so that was all we wanted. We didn't spend much time in there anyway-just sleeping and changing.

Possibly my favourite part of the week was our visit to Siam Park Water Park. It was amazing! The rides were really exhilarating and Sam and I had so much fun going down them together. Most of the rides you can choose to go down alone or in a pair, some rides you have to go in groups or pairs and some you have to ride alone, but it was nice to be able to go down some of the scarier rides with Sam. I even faced my fears by going down the Tower of Power, a ride with a 28m drop than can make you reach a speed of 80km/h, and goes underneath a shark tank! Never did I imagine I'd go on anything like that, and while I wouldn't say that I enjoyed it- the ride only lasted 7 seconds after an hour queue, so there wasn't much time to enjoy it- I am SO glad I did it because I would have been angry with myself if I didn't do it. Another favourite was the lazy river which turns into rapids and ends up as a lazy river under the shark tank. And of course Sealion Island was adorable!

Another favourite day of mine was our trip up Mount Teide, despite having to be up SUPER early. Seeing 6:30am whilst you're on holiday is a crime. Now, despite being FREEZING-silly us forgot that the air was going to be cold so we didn't wear jackets or anything cold and spent the hour we were outside shivering- it was amazing. The views are breathtaking and the cable-car ride up further was so worth it. The only thing I'd say, is that if mountains and hiking are your thing, do the full day trip rather than the half-day trip that we did, because we didn't have time to hike to the top.

We made friends with another couple while we were out there, Hope (pictured above) and Freddy. I'm SO glad we made friends because it made days like the day we went to the beach so much more fun, and the taxi a lot cheaper. When we went to the Playa De Las Americas beach we rented a paddle boat with a slide for an hour which was so fun, and we went on a banana boat. The banana boat was TERRIFYING but so fun, until we nearly lost Sam at sea! Sam fell off and the guy driving the speedboat didn't see and couldn't hear us screaming for him to turn around so kept driving for like another 5 minutes! That was so stressful because we were going so fast that I couldn't see where Sam was, and although we all had life jackets on, I was worried that he was hurt and we were SO far out so swimming back just wouldn't have been an option. Luckily, after about 5 minutes, the guy heard us and turned back- so Sam was found safe and sound chilling in the middle of the ocean. Funny in hindsight, not so funny at the time!

Having friends also made our evenings a lot more fun. We were able to play drinking games and watch the entertainment all together, which was great, until they all volunteered me to hold a snake during the snake show. I don't mind snakes but this one was very big and really liked being close to my face.

It was so nice to go away with just Sam as it meant we could go and do whatever we wanted. One night we went out to a Chinese and Japanese restaurant and had their Teppanyaki food which was AMAZING! Teppanyaki is where you are seated at a grill and the chef cooks your food for you right in front of you, which is very cool!

All in all I had the best holiday with my favourite person. We had such an amazing time and made some great friends and memories that we are going to cherish forever. I cannot wait to g on holiday with him again!

Have you been on holiday recently? Do you have any destination recommendations?

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed this post.
